CARVER 9770 is Cobalt based alloy with high resistance to corrosion, oxidation, heat and wear. Electrode has good welding properties. Weld metal is free from cracks, porosity and slag removal is easy. It retains hardness even at high temperatures.
Surfacing of parts requiring a high degree of resistance to corrosion, heat, oxidation, heat and wear. Slide gates, valves, conveyor screws, knives, hot shear blades, dies, cutting tool edges e.g. in chemical, oil, sugar industries and steel plants.
Use either AC or DC, reverse polarity.
